Hello there! I'm Alyssa — university professor by day and whisky whisperer by night.

 

My whisk(e)y journey began in 2018 with a dram of Lagavulin 16. That first sip sparked a passion and led to the creation of Girl with Cask Strength on Instagram — a space where I share honest, unfiltered whisky reviews with fellow malt lovers.

Over time, Girl with Cask Strength has evolved beyond a blog. It embodies an ideal: to live with authenticity, integrity, and passion. In that same spirit, I launched my whisky business to bring you bespoke tasting experiences that celebrate craftsmanship and foster connection.
