Who's Girl with Cask Strength?

Hello there! My name is Alyssa, a university professor by day and a self-proclaimed whisky aficionado by night, having recently obtained WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits with Distinction.

My journey into the world of whisk(e)y began with a dram of Lagavulin 16 in 2018. Shortly after, I created Girl with Cask Strength on Instagram to share my passion for the water of life and connect with fellow malt enthusiasts. The name was chosen initially because of my preference for cask-strength whiskies. But over the years, "with cask strength" has evolved into a personal mantra — to embrace life authentically and passionately.
