Glencadam 10 Year Old

Nose: Wafts into the nose first is a delicate floral scent with confectionery sweetness. Rose, freshly cut grass, crisp apple, lemon curd, raw Manuka honey, and hints of red currant jam.

Palate: Fresh on the palate with notes of honey water, melon, white tea, pear, and a touch of elderflower.

Finish: The finish is short and predominantly sweet, with slight tingles. It’s not the spicy type of tingle. It’s more like heavily carbonated water, sparkles dancing on the tongue kind of tingle.

Final Thought: I would compare this Glencadam 10 Year Old to chardonnay in wine. It’s easy-drinking yet not bland, a solid entry-level whisky for beginners. It’s also a great option to wind down the day or kick-start a tasting session. Every time I sip this whisky, I feel like lounging by a pool with ocean breeze gently blowing around me.

Girl with Cask Strength Score: 86/100.
